There are many other facilities available during your time with us (although some will depend upon the season).
Some of these are listed below.

Paragliding

The 9th International Air Games festival was held in Ölü Deniz in October 2008.

Babadag (Daddy mountain) is the launchpad and tandem riding is an exhilarating experience.

Diving
The scuba diving in Fethiye area is great value for money and takes place in a number of spectacular reefs and rocky coves.

Water Skiing
I love this, but it all depends what you've got left in your legs after riding!

Windsurfing
Either rent the gear, or take a lesson or two if you've not tried this before.

Snow Skiing
Cold, but some people like it!

Hiking
A good way to get up close and personal with the castle and some of the tombs.

Tennis
There are several, well maintained courts in the area.

Bowling
Pipes and slippers are optional!

Go-Karting
A relatively new venture, just outside town. Not for everybody, but an option.

Mud Baths
There's no denying it, THEY STINK! but are meant to work wonders on the skin and make you look years younger! This I Need !!!

Turkish Baths
Advisable at the start of your trip, to fully exfoliate and make the most of the sun!

Sailing/Boat Trips
A great way to relax and give those legs a rest! Gives you another aspect of the coastline and the 12 islands in the bay.

Fishing
Day trips, night trips, you name it!

Jeep Safari
Great fun. A bit like mountain biking, but far less effort!

Horse Riding
A great way to explore a bit further into the countryside.

Massage
This can either be in your hotel to ease those aching limbs, or at one of the fully equipped health spas nearby.

Ooops! Did I forget to mention the Shopping?? Next Page!!!

                                                                                                 Dining Out

The food in Turkey is fresh, varied and in my opinion validates any holiday here in itself!

Make sure you try...

Pide. A flat bread filled with your choice of meat, cheese, onions and egg.

Lahmacun. (pronounced lamajun) A sort of Turkish pizza, with a thin base.

Baklava. A sweet, layered pastry, usually soaked in Honey and pistachio nuts.

Gözleme. Turkish crepes, sweet or savoury, freshly made. Delicious.

There are some drinks that you should try, such as Raki, an anisette served with water; Salep, which is a great (non-alcoholic) winter warmer that tastes a little like a cross between Hot Chocolate and Horlicks; and Ayran, a yoghurt drink that is said to be good for the digestive system.

A few places we will take you to, given the chance, are;-

OBA - The most incredible place. It is at Kaya, out in the country. You are presented with a barbeque and a plate of fresh meat to cook for yourself at the side of the table. This happens whether you are inside or out!! The lamb is to die for!

Sultan's Patisserie - This is down a side street, just off Fethiye harbour. It is popular with businessmen and schoolchildren alike. Their cakes and baklava are so good they have had to open a remote bakery to keep up with demand!

Fethiye Fish Market - Sounds strange, but without spoiling the experience, it is the closest you will get to 'off the boat onto the plate'. Don't go if you don't like fish!!

Kale Park - This is a fairly new place. The food is good, but what makes this stand out as exceptional is that it stands beside the Crusader Castle and commands the most stunning views over the town.

And don't forget all the Lokantas. There's got to be a reason that all the locals eat at these!

After your meal, why not try a Nargila (Hookah pipe or Shisha)? They aren't normally used for smoking the sort of stuff associated with these pipes in the UK. The tobacco comes in many different, usually sweet flavours.
