On arrival, once you have freshened up, or slept if a night flight, we will hold a welcome meeting. This will be to explain the forthcoming events and help to familiarise you with your new surroundings. It will not be a ‘rep’ style meeting, trying to sell you extras for commission!
On the first day, there will be a relatively short ride along the peninsular and around the bay. We call this the ‘Turquoise Route’, simply because it is impossible to miss why they call this the Turquoise coast as you ride along the coastline and look down upon the picturesque bays. The ride cuts through forestry and starts to give you a feel for the place.
On conclusion of this, the week's agenda will be set. We see this as a testing ground, both for us and for the riders. You will be able to tell us which features were enjoyed and which less so.
The forthcoming routes can then be adapted accordingly. Also, should some riders have mistakenly overstated their levels of fitness, this can be taken into account, in order not to have a mismatched group cycling together.
Each evening, there will be a meeting to discuss the following day’s ride and discuss any problems encountered to date.
The night before your journey home, we will be having a celebration party to talk over the highlights of your stay.
Before your departure, we will gather all and return you to Dalaman for your flight home.
